Anthony Hall - JWOF 2019 Health and Wellness Panelist
Anthony Hall was born in Mona, St. Andrew, Jamaica. He attended several prep schools in and around Kingston and The Priory School. He migrated with his family to Ottawa, Toronto, and Montreal where he completed medical school at McGill University. The American Board of Neurological Surgery certifies Dr. Hall. He is in private practice in Southeast Florida and Jamaica.
Dr. Hall is among the first group of five physicians certified by the State of Florida to recommend medical cannabis in 2016. Since then, he has treated patients with multiple diagnoses using medical marijuana and low THC medications in Jamaica and Florida at Green Medizin in Lauderhill, Fl. Additionally, he is the President and Chief Medical Officer of Pure Jamaica Island Traders, a medical marijuana dispensary and retail clinic in Kingston. Dr. Hall is the medical director of Apollon Medical Formularies, a cannabis resort clinic in Negril, Jamaica. This clinic has been treating patients with multiple diagnoses using cannabis oils for the past 4 and 1/2 years. He is an Assistant Professor at the Herbert Wertheim FIU College of Medicine and an Associate Professor at Nova Southeastern Colleges of Osteopathic and Allopathic Medicine and previously lectured at Nova’s School of Physician Assistants. Dr. Hall has been a clinical professor for Barry University and the University of Alabama and a member of several professional societies and is the current president of the Miami-Dade County Chapter of the National Medical Association called the James W Bridges Medical Society.
