Happy Independence Day Jamaica!

Reflection…

As we celebrate Jamaica’s 57th anniversary of independence, let’s remember that this day is both an occasion to celebrate and to remember the struggles of those who fought to secure our freedom and autonomy. In the words of Gandhi, “Freedom is never dear at any price, it is the breath of life. What would a man not pay for living?”

As Jamaicans and members of the diaspora, let us take time to think about our historical journey through time and resolve to build a better future; to continue the struggle towards prosperity, safety and love among our countrymen.   Wishing you a Happy Independence Day!!
