Fae Ellington is a communication consultant who has a solid foundation as an actor, and a radio and television broadcaster for 5 decades. She has established herself as a sought-after trainer in media, communication, and platform skills. For over three decades she has conducted training for several companies and groups across the public and private sectors in the Caribbean: banks, corporate entities, business and financial companies, government ministries, departments and agencies, and hotels.
Fae is also well-known as an individual speaking coach who has worked with heads of banks, doctors, attorneys-at-law, politicians, pastors, public and private sector leaders, entrepreneurs, actors and performing artistes.
Fae is regarded as an authority and resource person on Jamaica’s culture. She received the National Honor of Jamaica – Officer of the Order of Distinction, Commander Class (CD).
Fae holds a Master of Arts degree in Communication Studies from the University of the West Indies, Mona. She was conferred with an Honorary Doctor of Liberal Arts (Honoris Causa) Northern Caribbean University (NCU) August 2021.
Fae taught in the Journalism program at the Caribbean School of Media and Communication (CARIMAC) from 1985 until retirement in 2018 (33 years). Ms. Ellington has coached the University of the West Indies valedictorians.
