VIRTUAL CONFERENCE Panelist, Dr. Maxine A. Ruddock
Dr. Maxine A. Ruddock is a Clinical Psychologist licensed in both Florida and New York. She is the founder and clinical director of Comprehensive Psychological & Assessment Services (CPAS), a mental health practice dedicated to providing mental health and wellness services to adults, children, couples and families. In providing treatment, Dr. Ruddock places a strong focus on the mind-body connection, and on balancing the physical, emotional, social and spiritual aspects of the whole person. She is particularly interested in women's issues, relationship issues (divorce, domestic violence) and in providing professional and personal coaching that transforms people’s lives.
She is an accomplished speaker and lecturer who has conducted seminars and educational presentations on dozens of mental health and wellness topics for medical students, schools, corporations, other mental health professionals, and the general community. A former contributing writer for Healthy Living Magazine, she was featured as a “Businesswoman of Style” in Style magazine and selected as a “Woman to Watch” in the Orlando Woman Newspaper. She served as an adjunct professor at Valencia Community College and taught career development workshops to business professionals.
Dr. Ruddock is a member of the National Association of Professional Women, where she was nominated for the award of Outstanding Businesswoman, The African American Chamber of Commerce, The Christian Chamber of Commerce, and served on the board of the Central Florida International Black Women’s Congress. Dr. Ruddock is the founder of Sisters of the Spirit, an organization with a mission to provide women entrepreneurs with tools for maintaining financially robust businesses.
Dr. Ruddock’s most cherished title is Child of GOD. Her faith in and love for CHRIST serves as the “lamp and light” for all she does. She enjoys reading, “hanging out” with her three sons, leisurely drives with her husband of 20 years and listening to music.
