The 2020 Run-A-Boat was a hit!
JWOF did it again! The Run-A-Boat was a success due to our talented members, Adrianna Bentley and Joy Thomas who guided the online event while, Run-A-Boat chair Michelle Manley lead the offline team who live-streamed from the participating food trucks and restaurants.
We thank everyone who joined us live and or made a special donation to the Melody House Girls Home in Montego Bay, your ticket purchase and donations will definitely go a long way to supporting the needs of the young ladies.
Chef Andre Fowles and Alexcia Smith did not disappoint with their live cooking demonstrations. We all wished we could be with them in person to taste Chef Fowle’s Shrimp & Pasta dish with a Jamaican twist and Chef Smith’s oxtail and cheese empanadas! We thank the chefs for making the event a huge success.
We also want to thank the JWOF Honorary Chair, Consul General Oliver Mair for joining us live where he declared a secret… JWOF is his favorite Florida organization! … shhhhh… don’t tell anyone! LOL
