International Women's Day 2021

Today, we celebrate International Women’s Day, and the Jamaican Women of Florida (JWOF) accepts the challenge from the International Women’s Day Campaign (internationalwomensday.com). This past weekend, we celebrated women at JWOF’s 8th Annual Women’s Empowerment Conference and Scholarship Fundraiser. Along with our partners, we awarded three young women with $5,000 scholarships ($1,250 yearly) to support their pursuit of post-secondary education. JWOF is committed to continuing to empower women across the globe. In the month’s ahead, we encourage you to join forces with JWOF to create opportunities in your personal and professional communities to create HOPE for women, ELEVATE women and help women RESTORE their well-being.
