The Jamaican Women of Florida (JWOF) concluded their annual diaper drive on June 15th, collecting nearly 7,000 diapers to donate to The Greater Fort Lauderdale Diaper Bank. This yearly initiative, held every May, is a central part of JWOF’s dedication to giving back to the South Florida community.

During the six-week drive, JWOF members generously donated diapers of all sizes. These donations are crucial in supporting The Greater Fort Lauderdale Diaper Bank’s mission to ensure that no family goes without these essential care items.

The success of the JWOF diaper drive is a testament to the organization’s unwavering commitment to making a significant difference in the lives of others. The collected diapers will provide much-needed relief to families in South Florida, a result of our collective dedication and effort.

The official donation took place on Friday, July 12th, at The Greater Fort Lauderdale Diaper Bank. JWOF extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who generously donated to this year’s diaper drive. Your kindness and generosity will make a real difference in the lives of many families. We look forward to the next diaper drive in May of 2025 and encourage everyone in the community to get involved and help support this worthy cause.
